The interface is a little bit kludgy, but with a price of zero I might actually reconsider switching from Aperture 2 to Lightroom 3 and just go with Viewer 2. It's in the ballpark of what I get with Noise Ninja on Aperture 2, and a whole lot easier to work with considering it doesn't mean creating a ginormous tiff file. Just futzed with it for a few minutes and I've got to say, the noise reduction is pretty good when applied carefully to a raw file. Thank you Christos the Greek for the info.

I see an option for FIsheye correction too, but it's in shaded lettering. OMG-finally "tilt adjustment" is mine!!!!!!Īnd something called Shading Compensation and unsharp mask-both things I haven't had access to til now. and it seems to have transferred all my stuff from the Olympus Masters 2 over for me. Just the question I was going to ask-patiently waiting for an answer :) the hell with it, I"m going to download it right now, especially since the only editing tools I use are Picnik and Olympus Masters 2-I imagine this will be a sweet upgrade indeed. I'm from Cyprus as well :)ĭoes it have batch processing of RAW images? It auto-booted the xp software pc and installed there.ĭoesn't look like there's a mac version on the web yet. "OV2Setup.exe" is a Windows application which was downloaded from the internet. When I tried to open it a warning came up saying: This may be a really stupid question, but here goes. Other than applying Art filters for my RAW images, I think I'll continue to use LR. I didn't see much other than your basic editing. It's pretty fast and seems to mimic the look of Lightroom. Spiffy scarecrow edited this topic ages ago.

Just keep trying (refresh the url every 10 seconds or so) – you’ll get the page and it will ask you to enter a camera serial number. I paid good money for Studio!Ĭan not use the Service in order to maintain the system. By giving Olympus Master users all the other features of Studio, Olympus have done a nice thing here IMHO.Īfter a little more checking, on the surface (i say this as a software developer!) Viewer 2 is exactly like Studio 2 other than a name change and the loss of tethered camera control.

I'm guessing Olympus Studio will remain the professional product for use in a studio environment. No tethered support? I still want to check it out, but wonder what Oly has for those that want to tether now? Hopefully not Studio. Service is temporary unavailable due to system maintenance.
